UFV GRADUATE STUDENT PAPER PRIZE

UFV will award the UFV Graduate Student Paper Prize ICICTE 2009 of 1000 euros for research contribution to the annual conference. Up to five finalists will be invited to present their research at the Graduate Student Award Symposium of the conference. All final papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

Submission Procedures:

Students who wish to participate will submit a proposal following the conference call for papers.

Graduate Student Papers will be evaluated using the same double-blind procedure employed for other conference paper proposals with the exception that graduate student papers will be identified as such.

Authors of accepted proposals will be required to submit the first draft of their paper along with a letter from their graduate advisor stating why they believe their student’s paper should be considered for the award (Deadline: April 21, 2009). Up to five students will be invited to present their research in the Graduate Student Award Symposium.

Only one student may be the first author, and the student's supervisor may appear on the paper as the second author. No cooperation research projects are eligible for the contest.

Comments will be forwarded to the authors, and final manuscripts, with editorial changes, must be received by June 10, 2009. The papers will be published in the proceedings under the title: Information Communication Technologies in Education. Only papers received before the deadline will be included in the proceedings.
