Boat trip to Lindos

A trip to Lindos will be held on Sunday, July 8.

Lindos, a striking jewel on the east side of the island brags of its history. Home to the most known acropolis of ancient Greece, second only to the acropolis of Athens, Lindos takes its visitors to a trip through time. The hellenistic staircase, the remnants of a roman temple and the castle of the Knights of St John all speak of a town with a history as breathtaking as the view of the endless blue sea around you.
The narrow cobbled streets take you to the elegant town, filled with small restaurants and cafes offering a fantastic view of the castle and the sea from their terraces, while the fine-sand beach on the rim of Lindos invites you to try some of the warmest waters in the Mediterranean.

Leaving "Mandraki" port at 09:00, after a 2 hour cruise along the east coast of the island, you will arrive at the most picturesque and popular village on Rhodes - "LINDOS", with its whitewashed houses built on the hillside, on top of which dominates the Acropolis.

During your 3 hour stay in Lindos, you can explore the village strolling through the small narrow streets dotted with wonderful souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. Climbing to the Acropolis, can either be done on foot, or by hiring the traditional  "Lindos taxi" , the donkeys! The view from the top is breathtaking. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal waters in the bay of  "Lindos".

On the return trip, a small swimming (diving off the boat) stop will be made either at  "Stegna beach"  or at  "Tsambika beach"  , and finally the boat  will pass by the "Kalithea Spa"  for some photos , before returning  to  the port of Rhodes-"Mandraki" at 18:00.
